Harmony Celebration Chorus (HCC) sings 4-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style. We chartered with Sweet Adelines International (SAI) in 1964 as Ramapo Valley Chorus under the direction of Renee Craig, an icon in SAI, who retired in 2007. In honor of Renee, we retired the name Ramapo Valley and became Harmony Celebration. Since its inception, HCC has been under the direction of Scott Brannon, a well-known barbershop performer, and has consistently competed on the international stage ranking in the top 20 at each contest. Following Scott’s resignation in early 2023, our Assistant Directors and Music Team have kept us coming to the risers each week with fun and engaging rehearsals as well as leading us on stage at the Region 15 Conference.

Harmony Celebration Chorus rehearses on Wednesday evenings (7:00 – 10:00 pm) in Ridgewood (Bergen County) NJ. HCC consists of members ranging in age from the 30s to 80s, with many having been a Sweet Adeline for more than 30, 40, and even 50 years!
